In September 2018, Jelle Klaas, litigation director of the NJCM and responsible for the PILP, participated in a workshop called “Future-proofings our digital rights” in Berlin. This workshop had been organised by the Digital Freedom Fund.
In this blog, Jelle describes an inspiring session in which he partook: “What can we win now?”. Sparked by different landmark cases on civil rights, such as Brown v. Board of Education, the group came up with four options for strategic litigation on algorithms and our digital rights. Read more about these scenarios and Jelle’s thoughts on them here.
