ROMA, SINTI AND TRAVELLERS: STILL SOCIALLY EXCLUDED?

Sabina Achterbergh (chairperson of the Dutch Association of Sinti, Roma and Travellers) and Jelle Klaas (PILP) spoke at Hague Talks on 12th May 2016. Sabina Achterbergh, a Sinti herself, has been advocating for the rights of Sinti, Roma and Travellers since she was ten years old. She has been the voice of this community in numerous international conferences at the European Union, United Nations and elsewhere. Click here to listen to her talk.

Jelle Klaas, projectcoördinator van het Public Interest Litigation Project (PILP), brings a human right perspective on the Roma, Sinti and Travellers issues in Dutch policies.
